WATER APPEAL
Give The Gift Of Water
771 million people in the world live without clean water
Give The Gift Of Water
Every year, 1.5 million people die from waterborne diseases. Dirty water kills more children than war. In many regions, women and children walk hours just to fetch water, often from contaminated sources.
Access to clean water transforms lives. It prevents deadly diseases, allows children to go to school instead of fetching water, and empowers entire communities to thrive.
“The best charity is giving water to drink.”
(Sunan An-Nasa’i 3664)
The current global hunger and malnutrition crisis is staggering. Almost 3/4 of a billion people go to bed hungry each night.

How a solar well can empower an entire village
Malawi Borehole
Generations of struggling residents of Nasanje village have long sought a source of accessible clean water. Locals have had no access to clean drinking water for miles around. Women and young children would persevere daily, through scorching summer temperatures and rough terrain, walking over 1.5hrs to collect water, which was often still unsafe to drink.
Our incredible team of fundraisers made it their mission in Ramadan 2021 to alleviate this hardship, raising funds to install a deep water borehole in the local community. Such a borehole serves approximatley 500 – 1000 people daily, with long-term, safe and clean water. The impact will be felt far and wide, from a drastic reduction in waterborne diseases to improved health and new livelihood opportunities.
The residents have expressed how grateful and delighted they are with this timely intervention and support.
